The collection consists of the following screenplays written by Faulkner: The Big Sleep, by Raymond Chandler, screenplay co-written by Leigh Brackett; To Have and Have Not, by Ernest Hemingway; The Land of the Pharoahs, by Arthur Knight; and Stallion Road, by Stephen Longstreet. There is also a screenplay of Faulkner's A Fable, by William A. Bacher. Finally, included is a manuscript for Faulkner's short story, Moonlight.
